Down payment and closing cost assistance for qualifying first time homebuyers

Changes for 2019

Since 1990, FHLB Des Moines has awarded $123.5 million in down payment and closing cost assistance to help more than 28,000 families with the purchase of a home.

October 21, 2019 - $100,000 Added to NAHI

An additional $100,000 in NAHI program funding is now available for FHLB Des Moines members. This funding is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability, to members who have not yet reached their $100,000 program limit.
