Economic Opportunity or Empowerment

Projects earns points in this category if:

The project must make available at least one of the following empowerment services or programs:

Employment Education (such as financial literacy, GED, etc.) Job training Homebuyer, homeownership or tenant counseling Childcare

Adult daycare services Afterschool care Tutoring Health services Resident involvement in project Workforce preparation and integration

Points available (Fixed): 5 points

To earn the 5 fixed points, the empowerment service or program must be available to all AHP-assisted households.

Required documents include:

• Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for each empowerment service or program offered
