Award Announcement

Awards will be announced approximately two weeks after the application deadline. Member contacts associated with each application will receive award notices via email.

Member Responsibilities and Post-Award Checklist

FHLB Des Moines will deposit grant funds within 2 weeks


1 Verify you received award(s) in your Demand Deposit Account (DDA).

Members must disburse the Member Impact Fund award and member's match to grantee.


1 Disburse to grantee within one month of receiving the award in your DDA.

Let’s celebrate! A media kit is available to support your efforts.


1 Members will acknowledge the FHLB Des Moines' contribution in any public promotions or announcements.

Grantees are required to verify with FHLB Des Moines that they received the total award moneys from the member by a specified deadline.


1 Grantees will receive a Verification Form link via email from FHLB Des Moines (sender is no-reply-ci@fhlbdm.com) to complete this process. The email will include application award details and a unique link for each individual award received.

The Verification Form will require grantees to verify the following information:

• Grantee name and contact information

• Grantee city and state

• Application number (as referenced in the email)

• Member name and contact information

• Total grant amount received from the member (including the member contribution and FHLB Des Moines matching funds)

Verification Example

1If a grantee received multiple Member Impact Fund grants, a separate Verification Form must be completed for each individual grant.

The Verification Form process typically begins approximately 3 weeks following the member notice and should take no more than 1 minute to complete.
