Advisory Council

The FHLB Des Moines Board of Directors appoints an Advisory Council that will advise them of affordable housing and economic development needs throughout our district. Advisory Council members are selected for their knowledge and experience serving housing and economic development agendas. The Council will help the Bank create programs and targets for its Community Investment activities.

Notice of Open Advisory Council Position

Through August 1, 2025, FHLB Des Moines is accepting applications for one open Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council) position designated to represent the affordable housing and community lending needs of Minnesota.

The term of service for the new Advisory Council member will begin on January 1, 2026, and conclude on December 31, 2028.
