Building stronger communities doesn’t happen overnight. And, it doesn’t happen alone. At FHLB Des Moines, volunteering is part of our community-minded mission. Our employees give back. They give new meaning to teamwork and building stronger communities. Each year, employees find ways to get involved as part of their Bank and on their own. We encourage employees to get involved in helping community organizations that are important to them. Donating, reading to kids, building homes, providing financial education or mentoring the next generation – the list is as long as it is wide.
Sponsorships are just one of the ways we give back and create strategic connections with community partners around causes that align with our key focus areas of housing, financial literacy, education and quality of life improvements.
