Christopher Perez

Mr. Perez is a leader in philanthropy and impact investing, with more than 25 years of experience advancing equitable, community-driven solutions. His career has focused on housing, community development, small business development, and strengthening community development financial institutions (CDFIs), with a consistent emphasis on expanding access to capital and opportunity.

Mr. Perez spent 17 years at the Rasmuson Foundation, Alaska’s largest private philanthropic organization, most recently as Vice President of Programs. In that role, he guided investments in housing and economic development initiatives across the state and oversaw the Foundation’s program-related investment (PRI) portfolio. Earlier in his career, he managed and supported housing and wealth creation strategies for low-income residents across rural and urban communities in the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines region, including Minnesota, the Pacific Northwest, the Mountain West, and Indian Country.
