Public Promotion Requirements

If your organization publicly promotes or announces its Member Impact Fund award:

  • You must acknowledge the FHLB Des Moines contribution in all communications, including press releases, social media posts, newsletters or other public materials.
  • We request you notify FHLB Des Moines prior to any planned promotions or announcements and provide an opportunity for FHLB Des Moines to participate. 

These requirements help to strengthen the visibility of the partnership between FHLB Des Moines and our member institutions and ensures consistent program messaging. 

To support your efforts, FHLB Des Moines provides a press kit with sample language, logos and other resources that members and grantees can use in their communications. 

Connect with our communications department at CommunicationsDepartment@fhlbdm.com to coordinate press releases, social media and pitching stories to media outlets.
