Online Application Access
Only members (not grantees) may apply for the Member Impact Fund.
The Member Impact Fund application is accessed through eAdvantage, FHLB Des Moines’ secure, online member site. eAdvantage requires members to have a user ID and password.
To complete a Member Impact Fund application, users must be assigned the “Community Investment: Voluntary Program/Member Impact Fund” user role access in eAdvantage.
eAdvantage Administrators
Each member has designated “Administrators” who are responsible for adding and deleting users for their member institution and can also manage and change user access permissions as needed.

Assigning a New Role to Current eAdvantage Users
eAdvantage Administrators can access administration functions by clicking the “Admin” menu in the eAdvantage naviation bar.
- Click "Edit User" to modify a user’s access rights
- Ensure the following boxes are selected:
User Type: eAdvantage
Community Investment: Voluntary Program / Member Impact Fund Access
- Click the 'Submit' button
- A pop-up message indicates that the changes need to be verified by a second administrator
Setting up a New User in eAdvantage
To set up a new user in eAdvantage, follow the steps outlined in the ‘User Administration’ section of the ‘Guide to 'eAdvantage’ located on the home screen of eAdvantage.
- Input information into all the required fields
- Ensure the following boxes are selected:
User Type: eAdvantage
Community Investment: Voluntary Program / Member Impact Fund Access
- Click 'Submit'
- The new user account will appear in red showing there are pending changes
- A pop-up message indicates that the changes need to be verified by a second administrator
