James joined the Bank six years ago and is a relationship manager, supporting North Dakota and South Dakota. He started his career at First Interstate Bank in Los Angles as a counterfeit currency detection expert. James held various roles in California financial institutions, including treasury management sales, before eventually moving to the Midwest to become vice president, correspondent banking officer at United Bankers Bank, working in North Dakota and South Dakota. He graduated from the Paul W. Barrett Graduate School of Banking in 2018. Born in Guatemala, James and his wife now call Sioux Falls, South Dakota home.
