Grant Funding for Missouri
The Member Impact Fund is a matching grant providing up to $3 for every $1 of a member's contribution to an eligible not-for-profit organization or government entity.
Grants may be used for capacity building or working capital to advance affordable housing or community development.
Grant recipients must be located in Missouri.

PROGRAM USER GUIDE
Award Process and Member Responsibilities
1. Awards will be announced in July 2026.
2. FHLB Des Moines will deposit grant funds within 2 weeks
Verify you received award(s) in your Demand Deposit Account (DDA).
3. Members must disburse the Member Impact Fund award and member's match to grantee
Disburse to grantee within one month of receiving the award in your DDA.
4. Let’s celebrate! A media kit is available to support your efforts
Members will acknowledge the FHLB Des Moines' contribution in any public promotions or announcements.
5. Grantees must verify with the FHLB Des Moines that they received the total award moneys from the member
Members must ensure that the grantee completes this requirement by the specified deadline.
Grantees will receive a Verification Form link via email from FHLB Des Moines (sender is no-reply-ci@fhlbdm.com) to complete this process. The email will include application award details and a unique link for each individual award received.
The Verification Form process typically begins approximately 3 weeks following the member notice and should take no more than 1 minute to complete.
