Member Impact Fund

Grant Funding for Missouri

The Member Impact Fund is a matching grant providing up to $3 for every $1 of a member's contribution to an eligible not-for-profit organization or government entity. 

Grants may be used for capacity building or working capital to advance affordable housing or community development.

Grant recipients must be located in Missouri.

Minimum Member Contribution Members must contribute at least $2,500 per application
Maximum Member Contribution No more than $100,000 for all applications submitted

How to Apply

The application period for the Missouri Member Impact Fund closed on June 5, 2026.

The Member Impact Fund application is accessed through eAdvantage, FHLB Des Moines’ secure, online member site. eAdvantage requires members to have a user ID and password. 

Only FHLB Des Moines members may apply.

Award Process and Member Responsibilities 

1. FHLB Des Moines members were notified via email of awards on July 14, 2026

1 If you have not received your award details email or have questions about your award, please contact us at MemberImpactFund@fhlbdm.com

2. FHLB Des Moines will deposit grant funds on July 16, 2026

1 Verify you received award(s) in your Demand Deposit Account (DDA).

3.  Members must disburse the Member Impact Fund award and member's match to grantee

1 Disburse to grantee no later than August 16, 2026.

4. Let’s celebrate! A media kit is available to support your efforts

1 Members will acknowledge the FHLB Des Moines' contribution in any public promotions or announcements.

5.  Grantees must verify with the FHLB Des Moines that they received the total award moneys from the member

1 Members must ensure that the grantee completes this requirement by September 16, 2026.

1 Grantees will receive a Verification Form link via email from FHLB Des Moines around August 6, (sender is no-reply-ci@fhlbdm.com) to complete this process. The email will include application award details and a unique link for each individual award received.

1 The Verification Form process should take no more than one minute to complete.
