FHLB Des Moines Seeks Appointment for Hawaii Advisory Council Position

FHLB Des Moines is seeking applications from leaders in Hawaii that bring knowledge and experience serving housing and economic development missions.
Beginning June 8, 2026, FHLB Des Moines will accept applications for one position on its Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council). This position will represent the affordable housing and/or community lending needs of Hawaii.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, July 31, 2026. The appointed member will serve a 3-year term, beginning Jan. 1, 2027 and concluding Dec. 31, 2029.
Eligibility Requirements
- All Advisory Council applicants must represent community and nonprofit organizations actively involved in providing or promoting low- and moderate-income housing or community lending in the Bank's district; community organizations include for-profit organizations.
- Applicants for the Advisory Council position must reside in Hawaii.
- Applicants are not eligible to serve on the Advisory Council if they are an employee or a member of the Board of Directors for a FHLB Des Moines member financial institution.
