Rob Dixon joined FHLB Des Moines in 2013, and is currently the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. In this role, he has direct responsibility for the FHLB Des Moines legal department. He advises management and the FHLB Des Moines Board of Directors on all legal matters impacting the Bank, including those involved with establishing or changing business direction, as well as all matters concerning SEC reporting and corporate governance.
Prior to joining FHLB Des Moines, Rob practiced law at Davis Brown Law Firm in Des Moines from 2010-2013, and at Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago from 2001-2010.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School. He graduated from the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute in 2013 and currently serves as Board President for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa.
