Christine H. H. Camp has served as a director on the board of Central Pacific Bank in Honolulu, Hawaii since 2004. During her 13 year tenure, she has served as vice chair of the Loan Committee and currently serves as the chair of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Audit and Governance Committees. Ms. Camp has been the president & CEO of Avalon Group, a real estate development and brokerage services firm she founded in 1999. Avalon develops residential and commercial projects in the range of $20 million to $300 million, including affordable apartment complexes in the state of Hawaii.
Ms. Camp’s position as a director of a member institution and her involvement in and knowledge of financial management, as indicated by her background, support her qualifications to serve on our Board of Directors. She currently serves as the chair of the Regulatory Committee and the vice chair of the Housing & Community Investment Committee.
