Income Limits

The items listed below must be collected from any new tenant, prior to move-in, to ensure the project has successful future monitoring and compliance reviews.

We will utilize details from tenants’ initial project entry for future monitoring and compliance reviews.

• AHP Initial Certification/Move in Income Checklist or similar Tenant Income Certification forms. 
• Third-party income and asset documentation validating the household’s projected gross annual income. 
• Rental AHP Income Calculation Guidelines must be reviewed for assistance in calculating the tenant’s gross annual income. 
• Rental Certification of Zero Income Form must be completed by household members 18 years old or older who claim no income from any source.
• Lease addendum or Notice of Rent Changes, if applicable.  
• The household’s income calculations must be documented in a way that ensures they can be easily duplicated and confirmed by FHLB Des Moines.
