Fourth Quarter 2020 Earnings Release & Dividend

On February 16, 2021, FHLB Des Moines released preliminary unaudited financial highlights for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. All numbers reported in this earnings release for the fourth quarter of 2020 are preliminary until the Bank announces audited financial results in its Fourth Quarter 2020 Form 10-Q with the SEC, expected to be available at www.fhlbdm.com and www.sec.gov on or before March 31, 2021.
The Bank’s Board of Directors approved a fourth quarter 2020 dividend at an annualized rate of 5.50 percent on activity-based stock and 3.00 percent on membership stock, unchanged from the prior quarter. Dividend payments totaling $40 million are expected to be paid on February 22, 2021.
