FHLB Des Moines Stands in Solidarity with the AAPI Community

last updated on Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Community News

Incidents of hate and violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community have been on the rise in cities across the United States. The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines stands in solidarity with our Asian American and Pacific Islander employees, their families and the communities who have been targeted by these injustices.

At FHLB Des Moines, we will never tolerate any form of racism, discrimination or bias toward any group of people. We stand up for what we know is right and that’s advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of our business. Our pursuit of that goal will never change.

We will continue to listen, educate ourselves and be a powerful voice in the fight against injustice.
