FHLB Des Moines Honored for Diversity and Inclusion

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines or the Bank) was recognized on Tuesday, November 14 as a recipient of the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Celebrate Business & Economic Impact 2017 Inclusion Award. The award honors employers who have championed diversity and inclusion at their businesses and organizations, as well as in the community.

From partnering with a local high school and colleges on internship opportunities for students to working with diverse vendors and engaging in events around the community, FHLB Des Moines is passionately committed to promoting diversity and inclusion.

“This award is a significant achievement and honor for the Bank,” Heather Hooks, Vice President and Diversity Manager, said. “Receiving this prestigious award from the Partnership demonstrates that our efforts to create an inclusive work environment have not gone unnoticed. Furthermore, it shows how far we’ve come over the past few years in our diversity and inclusion journey.”
