2022 Director Election Voting Underway

Voting is now open in the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines 2022 director election. Electronic ballots were distributed to all eligible voting members on September 21, 2022. Members in the states of Idaho and North Dakota will each fill one member director seat in their respective state. Two independent director seats will be filled through a district-wide election. One of the independent director seats to be filled is designated as a public interest independent (PID) directorship. Ballots must be received by October 28, 2022 at 5 PM CDT.

The state of Wyoming also had one member director seat to fill in the 2022 director election. Kim DeVore, president and CEO of Jonah Bank of Wyoming in Casper, Wyoming was the only eligible candidate who chose to stand for election in her state. Therefore, Ms. DeVore was declared elected to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines board in accordance with Federal Housing Finance Agency regulations. Ms. DeVore will begin serving her first term as a FHLB Des Moines director on January 1, 2023.
