The 2013 Competitive Affordable Housing Program (AHP) awards were approved November 13, 2013. Click here for a list of approved projects. Nearly $14 million in subsidies were awarded for homeownership and rental projects supporting acquisition, construction or rehabilitation of housing for 1,547 low-and moderate-income households. For sponsors awarded funds, the 2013 Implementation Plan, with program guidelines, is available below. Forms for project administration are available at Homeownership Forms and Rental Forms. Sponsors receiving an award should contact Community Investment Department staff to discuss the administration of the subsidy award before beginning their project.
In 2014 the maximum competitive AHP subsidy award will be $500,000 for a single project, subject to a limit of $30,000 for each unit assisted. The 2014 Implementation Plan, with program guidelines and calendar, will be available on January 2, 2014. Sponsors should complete a pre-application to obtain technical assistance from Community Investment staff. Submit the pre-application and a feasibility workbook during this period.
