FHLB Des Moines Publishes Affordable Housing Annual Report

Informed by data and steeped in the cultural context of communities that is achieved through deep relationships and in-the-field experience, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (Bank) Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council or AHAC) has a command of the affordable housing and community lending needs of the Bank’s district. 

Annually, the Chair of the Advisory Council presents a report summarizing their analysis of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines’ affordable housing and community investment activities as well presents the Advisory Council’s policy and strategic discussions that shaped the year.

About the Advisory Council: 
The FHLB Des Moines Board of Directors appoints an Advisory Council that will advise them of affordable housing and economic development needs throughout our district. Advisory Council members are selected for their knowledge and experience serving housing and economic development agendas. The Council will help the Bank create programs and targets for its Community Investment activities. Serving on the AHAC is one representative from each of the 13 states in the Bank’s district as well as two at-large positions, one to represent homelessness and another to represent Native peoples.  Learn More: https://www.fhlbdm.com/about/leadership/advisory-council/
