FHLB Des Moines Announces New Relationship Manager for Insurance Segment

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines or the Bank) is pleased to announce Laura Beebe joined the Bank on November 8, 2021 as a vice president, relationship manager responsible for working with the Bank’s insurance membership.
Beebe brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry to the role, including more than 11 managing life and property casualty insurance member relationships with the Bank. During her 33 years with Farm Bureau Financial Services, she held various positions such as director, Investment Administration, vice president, and senior portfolio manager, Taxable Securities. Beebe is also the current chair of the Insurance Women’s Investment Network and is a member of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLBank) working group, advising them on matters that impact FHLBank members nationwide.

Beebe holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Finance degree from Iowa State University.
