A Message from MPG Leadership
More Members Realizing More Value
On behalf of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (the Bank), I want to congratulate and thank our Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) for a successful partnership in 2019! Because of our PFIs, the Bank’s mortgage program experienced significant growth in both origination volumes and member participation.
- Members sold more than $4.47 billion through our mortgage program during 2019. This represents a 72% increase over 2018 volume,
- 20 Members sold mortgages through our program for the first time in 2019, and
- A record 267 members sold during the year. This growth signifies more members are realizing more value from the Bank’s mortgage program!
I have the privilege of leading a talented, member-focused team here at the Bank. Our promise to our PFIs is to enhance member benefits and to help your institution identify where to find additional benefits within the Bank’s mortgage program. With this mission in mind, we look forward to a successful partnership in 2020!

Senior Vice President, Director of Mortgage Programs
