posted on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Community News
Through Friday, August 16, 2019, Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) is accepting nominations for an Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council) member to represent the state of Alaska. The term of service for the new Advisory Council member is three years, beginning January 1, 2020, and ending December 31, 2022.
The Advisory Council meets at least quarterly with FHLB Des Moines’ board of directors to provide advice on ways the Bank may carry out its housing finance and community investment mission. Nominations will be accepted for individuals who reside in the Bank’s district and represent community and nonprofit organizations actively involved in providing or promoting low- and moderate-income housing and community lending.
Nominations for an Advisory Council member to represent Alaska may be made by submitting the nomination form and a copy of the candidate’s resume by Friday, August 16, 2019. Up to two letters of recommendation may be included. Individuals may nominate themselves for consideration.
