Dusan Stojanovic has responsibility for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines member/financial operations and information technology. Dusan joined the Bank in March 2008 and served as chief risk officer until June 2017, when he was appointed chief operating officer.
Before joining the Bank, Dusan held a variety of regulatory risk management and model validation positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago from 2006 to 2008, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond from 2005 to 2006 and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis from 1995 to 2003. From 2003 to 2004, Dusan served as the vice governor for banking supervision at the National Bank of Serbia.
Dusan received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Belgrade and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dusan also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
