As part of its Strong Communities Fund, FHLB Des Moines will provide $300,000 to members that help eligible Native American households purchase single family owner-occupied homes. Funds are available for down payment and closing cost assistance, or to pay the costs of homeownership counseling or property rehabilitation that is part of the home purchase. Reservation of funds is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members may reserve up to $20,000 at a time for 90 days. For more information, call the Community Investment Department at 800.544.3452, ext. 1173.
