Notice to FHLB Des Moines Bank

FHLB Des Moines has been made aware
of counterfeit checks that have been
mailed to consumers. The fraudulent
checks are marked as “cashier’s
checks” and have FHLB Des Moines as
the Bank name with the Bank’s logo
and address on them. The ones we
have been made aware of are for
$1,980.00. These are NOT
checks from FHLB Des Moines. We have
been in contact with the proper
authorities and an investigation has
been initiated.
Please report any complaints to your
state Attorney General’s office.
