As a member of the FHLB Des Moines, you have access to a variety of services that will help you meet your day-to-day cash management needs. Whether you need to manage your demand deposit accounts, transfer from one account to another or take advantage of our safekeeping services, our Member Financial Services team is here to help you.

 

Member CD Purchase Program

In 2009, FHLB Des Moines began purchasing Certificates of Deposit from its federally insured members. This program provides  eligible members the opportunity to increase their liquidity without pledging additional collateral or impacting their advance capacity at the Bank. Member Purchase CDs will be purchased for up to a 5 year term and has a transaction size limitation of $250,000 (includes interest) per member.

  Safekeeping and Custody Services
     We provide securities safekeeping and custody services for all types of securities for     
     members.

   Wire Transfer Services
      Our simple and efficient wire transfer service saves time and expense.

  Account Transaction Services
     We offer an efficient method to manage your Federal Reserve Bank settlement activity and
     services associated with various accounts held at the FHLB Des Moines.
