Manager
of Accounting Systems
Summary of
Position:
We seek a qualified professional to
serve as the accounting department
information systems project manager.
This position and function will
serve as the primary interface
between the accounting department
and the Information Technology
department on accounting systems
issues. Systems may involve the
Bank’s core systems (BankMate and
Principia) or internally developed
applications
(spreadsheets/databases).
Responsibilities include managing
the implementation and testing of
information systems projects and
reviewing and evaluating processes
to ensure internal controls are
adequate and considering process
improvements to achieve greater
efficiency.
Qualifications:
-
BA/BS
accounting degree
-
5 to 10 years
of business experience
-
2 plus years
of public accounting experience
preferred
-
Recent
experience with accounting and
general ledger information
systems
-
Recent
experience with IT and project
management
-
Strong
personal computer skills
including use of spreadsheets,
databases, and word processing
software
-
Strong
understanding of internal
controls
-
Strong
oral/written communications
skills
