Small Business Development Center
Provides free assistance to small businesses in the areas of expansion, innovation, productivity and management. Links diverse resources to meet the financial needs of small businesses.

State Data Center
Partnership between Census Bureau and local resources to provide census data, including demographic, economic and social statistics.

Iowa Department of Economic Development
Working with businesses and communities to improve the economic well-being and quality of life for all Iowans.

Community Economic Betterment Account
Provides financial assistance to companies that create or retain employment opportunities and make capital investments in Iowa.

Value-Added Agricultural Products and Processes Financial Assistance Program
Invests in the development of new agri-products and new processing technology.

High Quality Job Creation Program (HQJCP)
HQJCP is designed to promote the creation of quality jobs by businesses locating, expanding or modernizing their facilities in Iowa. To be eligible, businesses must meet criteria relating to targeted industries, employee benefits and building specifications, among others.

Targeted Small Business Financial Assistance Program
Assists in the creation and expansion of Iowa small businesses meeting certain criteria.

Iowa Entrepreneur Network
Online resource for Iowa entrepreneurs interested in starting or expanding businesses or investors interested in investing in Iowa businesses.

Iowa Loan and Credit Guarantee Fund
The Iowa Loan and Credit Guarantee Fund is designed to help businesses that are having difficulty accessing conventional financing. The fund provides lenders with additional security, thereby encouraging greater lender activity to Iowa businesses.

Housing Application Review Team (HART)
HART is a cooperative inter-agency work group organized by the Iowa Rural Development Council. By using the Housing Application Review Team process, a potential applicant may submit the completed one-page form along with a brief narrative and have a proposed project informally reviewed by six funding agencies with one communication.

Endow Iowa and County Endowment Fund
Endow Iowa legislation provides grants to some Qualified Community Foundations and state tax credits to persons donation to such Foundations.
