Urban First-Time Homebuyer Fund
FHLB Des Moines has suspended its
2008 Urban First-Time Homebuyer Fund
program. The Bank is transferring
the $1.0 million from this program
into funding for the current
Affordable Housing Program round.

Iowa Members OnlY On June 8, 2007, the Iowa Finance
Authority (IFA) announced that there
are FHLB Rural Down Payment
Assistance loan funds available to
all IFA Participating Lenders
through its IFA AHP Rural Down
Payment Assistance loan program.
Although IFA listed the FHLB Des
Moines’ Rural Homeownership Fund,
Urban Homeownership Fund, and Urban
First-time Homebuyer Fund as
additional approved subsidy
programs, these programs may not be
used in conjunction with the IFA AHP
Rural Down Payment Assistance loan
