Affordable Housing Program
(AHP) 2010 Funding
The FHLB Des Moines Affordable
Housing Program addresses
homeownership and rental housing
needs of low- to moderate-income
households in partnership with
member financial institutions and
local community development
organizations
On May 1, 2010, FHLB Des Moines will
begin accepting applications for our
competitive Affordable Housing
Program (AHP). The online
application can be accessed from
May 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010.
The system will be available from
7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Central Time
seven days a week.
All competitive AHP applications
must be submitted through
our online grant application system
and received by 4:30 P.M. Central
Time on June 30, 2010. To access
the application, sponsors must first
register with the Community
Investment Department and receive
support from a FHLB Des Moines
member institution. The sponsor
registration form will be available
April 15, 2010 on the Community
Investment Department's AHP webpage.
Pre-application forms, the online
application, registration forms,
application instructions and a
training manual are listed below.
The forms and online application
will only become available as noted
in the 2010 timeline of events. If

In addition to our competitive AHP
funding round, FHLB Des Moines also
offers three homeownership set-aside
programs: Rural Homeownership Fund,
Native American Homeownership
Initiative and Urban First-time
Homebuyer Fund. The

programs.
