Ed McGreen is executive vice president and chief capital markets officer for FHLB Des Moines. He has held this position since July 2005 and is responsible for treasury and portfolio strategy. Ed joined FHLB Des Moines in November 2004 as the director of mortgage portfolio management.
Prior to joining the Bank, Ed served as director of Finance at Fannie Mae in Washington, DC where he was responsible for the risk management and reporting of Fannie Mae’s debt and derivative business. Ed held various finance and portfolio management positions at Fannie Mae from 1996 to 2001 and from 2002 to 2004. From 2001 to 2002, Ed worked as a senior interest rate risk manager for GE Asset Management.
He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University and his M.S. degree in Finance from George Washington University. Ed holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute and Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
