2006 Urban
Homeownership Fund
The FHLB Des Moines is pleased to
announce the recipients of the 2006 Urban Homeownership Fund. The
Home Loan Bank awarded 41 members
$2.25 million across its five-state
district of Iowa, Minnesota,
Missouri, North Dakota and South
Dakota. The Home Loan Bank is not
offering this program in 2007. For more information about

On June 8, 2007, the Iowa Finance
Authority (IFA) announced that there
are FHLB Rural Down Payment
Assistance loan funds available to
all IFA Participating Lenders
through its IFA AHP Rural Down
Payment Assistance loan program.
Although IFA listed the FHLB Des
Moines’ Rural Homeownership Fund,
Urban Homeownership Fund, and Urban
First-time Homebuyer Fund as
additional approved subsidy
programs, these programs may not be
used in conjunction with the IFA AHP
Rural Down Payment Assistance loan
